Supplier’s Factory Evaluation
The evaluation is usually done before the order is placed.
Check the organization structure, quality system and production work flow.
Require high technique of observation and questioning.
Procedures include pre-audit contract, opening meeting, and factory tour, workers interview, document/records review and closing meeting.
Evaluate answers of the factory representatives and decide whether the questionnaire (if any) shall be scored “Yes” or “No”.
Action plan or overall recommendation is required.
Applicant may need conclusion or rating.

Pre-production Inspection
The quantity and quality checking on raw materials and components
The production machinery condition and capacity checking
The production technology checking and QA personnel placement.

During Production Inspection
Inspection is normally done as the product is going through the finishing process. That means inspection shall be conducted when 10% - 20% of goods are finished checking or packed into the polybag.
It shall find out defects in the earliest stages.
Check semi-finished goods on every production processes.
Proportionally and randomly check the goods during inspection.
Mainly search the cause of defect and suggest corrective action plan.
May need several during production inspection (DPI) to ensure continuous improvement before final random inspection (FRI) upon applicant’s request.

Final Random Inspection
Quantity check
Check the style, color and material
Check workmanship (adopt AQL to audit critical, major and minor defects)
Function and /or safety check
Size measurement if needed
Check package details
Check shipping mark

Supervision of Loading
Our inspectors will reach factories, warehouse, loading place to check products’ information, quantity, package when whole loading process and help manufacturer finish loading under correct and clear working clauses.
In general, we will check the following aspects for loading supervision.
Record the weather/arrival time of container/No./truck No.
Check the inner& outer condition to see if there is any damage/wet/hole/peculiar smell.
Check the quantity of goods loaded and record the condition of outer packaging (master cartons/pallets)
Randomly draw and open some cartons to verify that the goods meet with clients’ specification.
Supervise the whole loading process.
Seal the container with the custom’s seal and CTL seal.
Record the seal No. and departure time of container.
